We moved here a year ago and have been searching for a great Chinese takeaway and this is it! Customer service is brilliant, friendly they know their customers. The Curry, Chow Main and Sweet and Sour Chicken were all exactly how we like them and the shop was beautifully clean. Will definitely be back.

Best chippy and best Chinese takeaway for miles! We've been customers here ever since Simon and Jackie and their family took over in the early 90's. The fish and chips are proper fish and chips cooked in proper chip shop fryers. The Chinese food is amazing - if they are ever closed I'd rather go without than go anywhere else! Jackie and her staff are all lovely, friendly people and they all do a brilliant job!

Chips and gravy were very very nice. Got a portion of chicken balls which were much bigger in size and quantity than I was expecting. They kindly swapped the sweet and sour sauce for curry sauce free of charge. The lady who served me was extremely nice and polite. I would go there again without a doubt. Only thing I say is they should expand the menu a bit more. But that's just me being picky I suppose.

Absolutely the best takeaway in Codnor! I love the Malaysian chicken (17a) and my partner isn't keen on many dishes but they always make his special kebab to suit (XXL meat kebab) with their perfect chips!

The best chip shop and Chinese food around this area bar none! I’ve been coming to this chip shop for over 10 years and the customer service of Jackie and the team is brilliant. On top of that, the food is excellent, never had bad food from them once. Chip are freshly made and the fish is lovely and crispy. The Chinese food is excellent with whole pieces of chicken and none of the reformed stuff you get with other places. Also it’s all so reasonably priced. We eat here around once a week and usually treat ourselves to food from here on a Saturday evening. My only gripe is that they sometimes have to close to go on holidays. Which sucks cause it means that if we fancy a takeaway, we have to chose an inferior place and we’ve tried many over the years. Out simply, Kingfisher and Luke Vic are the best.
